Career Highlights:

Dr. Smothers is a Professor of Management and the MBA Program Director in the Romain College of Business. He earned a BSBA from Union University, an MBA from the University of Tennessee and a Ph.D. in Management from the University of Mississippi. He teaches applied managerial courses such as Leadership Skills and Innovation, Lean Six Sigma and Project Management. His research and consulting work helps firms improve their organizational strategy and achieve their goals.
