USI’s Romain College of Business shapes today’s business students into tomorrow’s outstanding professionals. Our accredited programs ensure graduates are prepared for a rewarding career by promoting collaboration and innovative thinking across disciplines.
We focus on providing a wide range of opportunities for students to develop key business skills, establish networks and engage in experiential learning outside the classroom. These opportunities include interaction with executives and professionals in the region and internships with area businesses, as well as business-case competitions across Indiana and the nation.

College of Liberal Arts
The College of Liberal Arts at USI equips students with exceptional critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities. Our online programs are designed to prepare you for a variety of professional roles across a diverse array of industries.

Pott College of Science, Engineering, and Education
The Teacher Education Department at USI prepares educators to understand the communities in which they work as well as their students, their subject matter and pedagogical methods. Research-based teaching practices promote well-being in diverse and global settings and identify ways future educators can support their own students.
A clinically based approach integrates theory and practice, allowing teacher candidates develop and test classroom management and pedagogical skills, practice evidence-based decision-making, and to understand professional standards.
The Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) accredits the Teacher Education Department at the University of Southern Indiana. CAEP promotes excellence in educator preparation through content and pedagogy, clinical partnerships and practice, candidate recruitment, progression and support, program impact, and quality assurance and continuous improvement.
