Dr. Stacey Murray is an Associate Professor at the University of Southern Indiana with over 11 years of experience as an exceptional educator in public schools, serving students in grades K–5. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to inclusive education, literacy development and supporting students with exceptional needs. Her dedication to student success and instructional excellence has earned her recognition as a Teacher of the Year Finalist and recipient of the Excellence in Advising Award.
Dr. Murray’s professional interests include research in exceptional needs and literacy, with a focus on fostering equitable learning environments and evidence-based instructional practices. She is passionate about preparing future educators to meet the diverse academic and social-emotional needs of all learners while promoting meaningful, student-centered learning experiences.

What advice would you give to those considering this online program?
When considering the online program(s), time management and strong communication skills are needed. Courses are mostly asynchronous, so self-discipline is required to be successful.
